Ambrette in Velixir perfumes
The seed of the musk mallow, a plant: a soft, warm, skin-like, slightly nutty and floral musk smell.
Ambrette oil comes from the seed of a plant of the hibiscus family, the musk mallow, and smells of soft, warm skin with a faint pear and nut tone. It is one of the few plant materials with a musky character, and perfumers use it where they want musk without the clean, laundry feel of the synthetic kind.
